Using the same operating principle as the Pneumofloat, but offering a wider scope of signal options, the Tankicator is a vertical float valve that provides a clearly visual indication of liquid level. Useful for more diverse applications, this versatile instrument can be used to produce output signals at multiple predetermined or designated liquid levels. Every Tankicator is designed and built to fit the particular customer application, allowing for a wide range of criteria such as depth of tank or number of switch points required to be accommodated.
Able to be used in containers pressurised to 2 bar. The magnetic valve mechanisms can be located and then configured as required to operate in Normally Open or Normally Closed configurations as required. The Tankicator can be linked to systems for pump control, high /low level alarms and duty / standby pump changeover
Tankicator Operating Principle
Similarly to the Pneumofloat, the Tankicator float follows the level of the liquid as it changes, the rod then moves against a Custom designed indicator board giving a visual confirmation of liquid level. As the float magnets move into the field of the valve magnets the valves trigger and the required pneumatic signals are generated.
